The 1408 Movie is set to be released in a few weeks and looks like it could be a real winner. The 1408 Movie trailer available online does not give much away about the film but it certainly wets the appetite for the soon to be released 1408 Movie. The 1408 Movie is based on the Stephen King novel which I thought was classic Stephen King material and I really enjoyed reading it. It will be interesting to see if the film adaptation is of at least a similar standard to the book. 

The 1408 Movie stars John Cusak and Samuel L. Jackson and is directed by Mikael Hafstrom. The basic story line behind the film is John Cusak’s character is a bestselling novelist who focuses on scary stories and the paranormal but he himself is not a believer in paranormal activity. So in the 1408 Movie he decides to spend a night in a notorious New York Hotel that is believed to be haunted to prove that the paranormal is all a bunch of hocus pocus.

As I sit here typing away this 1408 Movie review, or should I say 1408 Movie preview I am getting goose bumps just thinking about spending a night in room 1408 after since reading the Stephen King 1408 novel. Although I haven’t seen the film yet I must say I am almost certainly convinced this screen version will scare the pants off me when I see it and probably you to.

Stephen King as we all know is the master of horror or more directly scaring the living daylights out of his readers. With a brilliant couple of power house actors like John Cusak and Samuel L. Jackson I’ve no doubt the 1408 Movie will live up to the expectations of Stephen King fans and horror movie fans alike. I personally can’t wait to see this new horror movie and strangely enough I can’t wait to be scared senseless for some strange reason.

So fingers crossed for the 1408 Movie and let’s hope it’s as scary as the 1408 Stephen King novel.
