Raiders of the Lost Ark is in my opinion the greatest action movie ever made. Of all the Indiana Jones movies that were made Raiders of the Lost Ark was without doubt the number one. The Raiders of the Lost Ark movie was made in 1981 starring Harrison Ford and directed by Steven Spielberg. The story was written by George Lucas about a swashbuckling archeologist who was one of the most original screen action characters that has even to this day ever been seen on film.
